COOL SHIRTS FOR SUMMER RELIEF AT BONDURANT June 27, 2008 (Phoenix, AZ) - Relief from the heat is available at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. Available immediately to students driving in courses offered at the international driving school is the technology used by military and surgeons that prevents heat-induced fatigue.

Heat-induced fatigue can affect a driver's ability to manage incoming stimulus. The Bondurant School has put into practice a new technology to eliminate heat as one of the many factors students are processing. Double insulated, quick connect/disconnect tubes deliver ice-cooled water to a students Cool Shirt® to keep the driver cool. The shirt is pulled overhead, and sewn-in tubes circulate throughout the shirt and feed out the bottom to connect to the cooling system mounted in the Corvette.

-The inside of the car hit 111° F but I was very cool and comfortable wearing the cool shirt,- said Tommy Guerrero, California resident and Bondurant student.

-These shirts enhance driver performance, endurance and recovery- said racer Mike McGovern, chief instructor at the Bob Bondurant School.

McGovern first used the shirt racing and believed it would be a good fit for students at the Bondurant School.

-Drivers are processing so much information when they take on the Bondurant method, Arizona heat should not be a distraction to what they are learning,- McGovern continued.

Shirts are available for purchase at the School for $135, which includes use of the cooling system. Students may return to use the system at anytime with the shirt they purchase from the School.
